Gregory McNulty - Vice President of Federal Systems
Mr. Gregory McNulty is Vice President of Federal Systems at Mocana with more than twenty five years experience in high technology federal markets: wireless, security, telecommunications, defense, embedded software and communications systems. Track record includes co-founding two Silicon Valley VC start-up companies, turning around companies to profitability and significantly increasing market value to shareholders. Prior to Mocana he was VP of WW Sales at Hifn a leader in data security where he ran a $40M million business. In 2000 through 2005 Mr. McNulty was CEO and founder of Cranite Systems, a leader in security software for wireless networks for various Federal Agencies and Systems Integrators, and successfully closed $27M in venture funding in three rounds of financing under extreme market conditions.
From 1997 to 1999 Mr. McNulty was a Sr. Group Manager at Microsoft responsible for Business Development for Microsoft’s Network Services to Internet Service Providers. Prior to his work at Microsoft Mr. McNulty was the Director of Major Accounts, Business Development for Wind River Systems and directed worldwide government programs for the leading supplier of real-time operating systems and revenue during the tenure grew from $20 Million to over $60 Million.
From 1982 to 1992 Mr. McNulty was Vice President International Operations and co-founder of Rugged Digital Systems, Inc. the leading manufacturer of military standard, ruggedized computer systems (DEC, IBM, SUN, VME, SGI, PC architecture’s). He started his career at ROLM Corporation where for four years he managed and directed the negotiations and administration of government operations for both ROLM’s Mil-Spec Computer Division and ROLM’s Telecommunications Division.
Mr. McNulty received his BS Degree from Santa Clara University and attended University of Southern California’s Graduate School of Systems Management. He is also a current member of the Board of Fellows at Santa Clara and is a guest lecturer at Stanford, Santa Clara and University of California. He is also a member of the board of the First Tee Organization.
