What's Microsoft's winning mobile strategy? How about Android.
Journalist Steven J. Vaughan-Nichols writing on ZDNet points out that recent patent agreements between Microsoft various Android suppliers now amount to about $8 from every Android phone sold worldwide today going back to Microsoft. Vaughan-Nichols speculated that in 2013, that could mean $3.4 billion from Android sales for Microsoft.
Vaughan-Nichols does mention the pending Motorola MObility (Google) lawsuit which may ultimately negate Microsoft's claims on Android entirely.
