Overview
New services and applications are quickly evolving and the network has to evolve with them. Today wireless and wireline networks are converging to deliver voice, video and data to an increasingly large number of always-on connected devices. This results in several new challenges, one of these being security. Networked devices and services must be secure, but the performance and scalability requirements are emerging so rapidly that many device manufacturers and service providers are scrambling to keep up.
