Google Glass Apps Appear At SXSW

At least three apps designed to work with Google's new Google Glass product have appeared at SXSW this week.

Blogger TheDroidGuy said Google showcased an app being developed with The New York Times to display the headline, an image, and a byline of current news. The app can also read aloud the article if the user wants. Evernote is also working with Google, so users can use their Skitch app to communicate with friends online. Finally, Path will identify if a social network friend is currently online.

Google knows that its new product needs apps to survive and so it has been working with developers to see what's possible.
