Microsoft Considers Android Apps For Windows

The Windows Mobile phone may allow Android apps to run on both Windows and Windows Phone.

According to the Verge the implementation of such a plan, if it happens, won’t likely be until Microsoft’s Windows 9 work is ready in 2015 at the earliest.

The Verge points out that Blackberry attempted this its BlackBerry 10 platform. While Microsoft’s Nokia phones have more penetration in the market today than Blackberry, it remains to be seen how easily consumers will be able to run Android apps on Windows.
