Walgreens API Makes Healthcare Apps Friendlier

Take its mobile app one step further, the Walgreens pharmaceutical chain has released an API so that healthcare app developers can include the company’s prescription scanning and refilling technology in those apps as well.

According to MobiHealthNews the Walgreens functionality is already available in drug information app PocketPharmacist and in the newly launched personal health record Healthspek.
