Mocana Named As World Economic Forum 2012 Technology Pioneer

The World Economic Forum today named Mocana, a company that focuses on smart device security, a "2012 Technology Pioneer." Mocana Corporation is one of only 11 IT companies chosen from a field of over 800 nominees. The winners, including Mocana, represent a "diverse set of innovative technologies that are poised to have a critical impact on business and society," according to the WEF. As a 2012 Technology Pioneer winner, Adrian Turner, CEO of Mocana will attend the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland in January 2012.

For more than a decade, the World Economic Forum has recognized innovative international start-ups in the areas of IT and new media, energy and environment, and life sciences and health. Intel Capital has nominated Mocana as a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer Candidate for 2012.
